This post is a bit unusual for me. Since POC got back on track last year, this was the first time I didn’t participate in the making of our new documentary because I was traveling for a while. I can say I felt the other side of the story; your side, my friend, either a volunteer or a member of our community.
During this period I was traveling, I went through a lot that made me grow positively, mainly as a human being. And this is how I see the portraits and documentaries of POC: a journey. We are taken to places that we might never set foot, and meet people who we might never have the chance of a one-to-one talk; yet, their stories, attitudes and humanitarian efforts, move us and make us better people.
That’s what happened to me while I was gone: through the beautiful work of my fellow friends with the NGO Cidadão Pró-Mundo (Pro-World Citizen). Because of that, I would like to invite you to meet our new work, done with much care and disposition, and taking in consideration all of the POCers out there. Check out the portraits of our new friends, who will be in our new documentary, to be released this month. They are all source of inspiration to us!
